What happens to my text?
The text you paste is sent over an encrypted connection for rewriting and returned side-by-side with your original. We don't store the text, the prompt, or the AI response — only safe usage metadata for quota accounting. Our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), may not train its models on it and deletes it within 30 days, unless it must keep it longer to enforce its usage policy or to comply with the law.
Does it overwrite my original?
No. Your original text stays untouched next to the rewrite, so you can compare and copy only what you want.
Do I need an account?
Yes. AI tools run through your account so usage and credits stay yours; browser tools remain free without one.
