Frequently asked questions

How does it work?
Your resume is read on your device (PDF, Word, text or a photo). Its text and the job description are sent for a review: each key requirement with the evidence from your resume, the job's keywords you have and lack, and rewrites of your own lines.
Will it make things up?
It is told never to add an employer, title, date, skill or number you did not write. Where a number would help, it leaves a placeholder like [number] for you. The keywords and the lines it rewrites are checked against your resume text on your device, and any mismatch is shown.
Do I get a score?
No. It is a self-help tool for your own resume, not a judgement of you: you get each requirement of the posting with what your resume shows for it.
Can employers use it to screen candidates?
No. It is for job seekers improving their own resume. It does not score, rank or screen people, and it must not be used to make decisions about candidates.
Is my text stored?
Not by us. It's sent over an encrypted connection for processing. Our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), may not train its models on it and deletes it within 30 days, unless it must keep it longer to enforce its usage policy or to comply with the law. We keep only safe usage metadata (operation type, input size, credits used, model name, token counts, and estimated cost) for quota and cost accounting. Token counts are numbers only; we never keep the prompt or output text.
