Turn your notes into flashcards
Paste typed notes, or upload them as Word, Markdown or text, and get a deck to revise from without writing a card by hand.
- Needs a free account
- Text is processed by Anthropic (Claude)
- Encrypted in transit
What you get
- A deck of 10, 15 or 20 cards. Easy, Moderate or Challenging sets how demanding the questions are.
- A study guide that tidies scattered notes into headings and bullet points.
- Learn mode, which keeps coming back to the cards you miss: multiple choice first, then typing the answer from memory.
- Export for Anki or Quizlet, or save the set here and review it on a spaced-repetition schedule.
- Paper cards too: Print cards makes cut-out sheets with the questions on one side and the answers on the back.
Works best with
- Typed notes in any shape: bullet lists, half sentences, copied passages. Headings help but are not required.
- Word (.docx), OpenDocument, RTF, Markdown and plain text files load straight into the box.
- Handwritten pages need to become text first. A clear photo can go through Image to Text, and the result pasted in.
- Notes written in another language get cards in that language.
How it works
Paste your notes into the Study Kit
Sign in and paste them, or choose Upload a file for a Word, Markdown or text file.
Set the size of the deck
Pick 10, 15 or 20 cards and a difficulty. Fewer, harder cards suit a final review; more, easier cards suit a first pass.
Build the kit and save it
Select Build my study kit, then Save to my study sets so the cards come back when they are due.
Example
Illustrative example: a line of rough notes and the card it could become.
Input
WW1 start - Franz Ferdinand shot Sarajevo 28 June 1914 -> Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia (July)
Output
- Q: Whose assassination in Sarajevo on 28 June 1914 helped start the First World War? A: Archduke Franz Ferdinand's.
Frequently asked questions
Will it add facts that are not in my notes?
It is instructed to use only your notes, and if there is too little to study it says so instead of inventing a kit. AI can still get things wrong, so check the cards against your course material.
Where are my saved study sets kept?
In this browser only. They are never uploaded, so they do not follow you to another device, and clearing this site's data removes them. Download the deck too if you want a copy.
Are my notes stored?
Not by us. Your notes are sent over an encrypted connection to Anthropic (Claude) to build the kit; we keep only usage metadata such as the operation and the credits used.
